JPM had a season with ups and downs in 2005. The first year in a new team is always difficult, especially next to a fast driver like Räikkonen.
The downsides were that he missed two GP's because of a shoulder injury, was hit
from behind twice by backmarkers, spun during qualifying for the German GP, hit a
draincover in China, got disqualified in Canada for ignoring the red light at the end of
the pitlane and got a punishment in Monaco.
The upsides were that he scored 3 victory's, one fastest lap and one pole and ended
a credible fourth in the championship which is remarkable considering al the
unfortunate things that happened to him. |
